Lets all hope the railway get full planning permission for their planned extension in the near future, more locations like this are very desirable to recreate the long lost Lynton & Barnstaple line. "Lyd" was making a another visit to the line that it was designed for from its regular home on the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways in North Wales, Whilst "Lyn" is the more recently completed home based engine. In these two images we see the two replica L&B locos "Lyd" and "Lyn" approaching the superbly restored station at Woody Bay with our charter. Thank you to our charter organiser David Williams. A very windy day, but we still managed to get some decent shots with a little thought and effort. Nonetheless, I attended a photo charter at the Lynton & Barnstaple Railway at Woody Bay on Exmoor earlier this week.
